A seasoned automotive engineering expert with over 12 years of comprehensive experience, blending a global educational foundation with deep hands-on practice in the Chinese and European automotive industries.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, included an exchange at Germany’s Karlsruhe University, and was capped with a Master’s in Powertrain from France’s prestigious IFP School. This tricontinental education equipped me with robust technical fundamentals and a unique cross-cultural perspective.
I launched my career within the PSA Group (now STLA), progressing through a series of pivotal roles—from Component Engineer and Lead Engineer to Project Leader and Technical Leader. This path provided me with an all-round mastery of component development, system integration, complex project management, and team leadership. I have firsthand experience in managing technical teams through relocations and international collaborations.
Most recently, I served as a Project Chief Engineer at STLA, where I was responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic delivery of major engineering programs.
Leveraging this extensive background, I co-founded Janas&Li Engineering Consulting and serve as the China Office Director. Our mission is to empower clients in the automotive and powertrain sectors with high-end technical solutions, project management optimization, and strategic guidance for successful cross-market operations.
